This year, F.T Island was not seen much in Korea as they were busy with promotions in Japan. After successfully rising to third place in Oricon charts, this idol band group plans to make a comeback in Korea with a minialbum that will be released on the 25th.

Recently, member Lee Hong Ki held an interview with Sports Seoul regarding the new album. After several questions regarding the album, he was asked about CNBlue’s leader Jung Yonghwa. In response, Lee Hong Ki answered, He is a good friend and rival that I often compete with. Although I debuted first, I am glad that Jung Yonghwa turned out so well. It might be because I experienced living as a celebrity first, but I understand how hard it must be for Yonghwa to go through such a busy schedule.”

Tickets for Korean rock band CNBLUE’s Singapore concert have been sold out, according to their agency FNC Music on Tuesday.

FNC announced in a press release that tickets for the show to be held on August 21 at the University Cultural Centre Hall, sold out within a minute of going on sale online on Sunday.

Singapore will be the second stop of the four-member band’s Asia tour which kicked off in Korea on July 31. It will continue on into Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan and China until October.

CNBLUE (Code Name Blue) made their official debut in Korea on January 14 with their mini-album “Bluetory” featuring their hit single “Alone” which topped various online and offline music charts.

They unveiled a second mini-album “Bluelove” on May 19 which fared well in Korea as well several weekly music charts in Taiwan. The boys also released a new Japanese single “The Way” in June and performed at a sold-out live concert in Osaka alongside labelmates FT Island.

Mereka juga telah membuat mini album kedua berjudul “Bluelove” pada tangga 19 May kemaren, dan sampai ke chart Taiwan. Para lelaki ini *asek* juga merilis single Jepang berjudul “The Way” Juni kemarin dan tampil di Osaka bersama F.T Island.

CNBLUE is scheduled to kick off a six-stop Asia tour next month, starting with a concert in Korea on July 31.

The group’s agency FNC Music announced in a press release that the boys will then perform in Hong Kong and Singapore in August, Thailand, Taiwan and Japan in September and China in October.

FNC explained that the tickets for their Seoul concert titled “Listen to the CNBLUE” were sold-out within a minute of going on sale last month.

Four-member band CNBLUE released two singles in Japan before breaking into the local music scene with their mini-album titled “Bluetory” in January.

The group had garnered much attention ahead of their debut with leader and main vocalist Jung Yong-hwa gaining popularity through SBS’ hit TV series “Minamishineyo” (2009).

They released their second mini-album album “Bluelove” in May 19 which fared well in Korea and has topped several weekly music charts in Taiwan as well.

The boys also unveiled a new Japanese single album “The Way” in June as well as performing in a sold-out live concert in Osaka the same month.
